Consent: By calling our telephone line and requesting or accepting the delivery of a link to schedule an appointment, you consent to receive automated text messages (SMS) from us.
Frequency and Rates: The frequency of messages will depend on your interactions with our scheduling system (typically one message containing the link per call). Paws & Claws Pets Grooming LLC does not charge for this service; however, standard message and data rates may apply through your mobile service provider.
Cancellation (Opt-out): You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying with the word STOP. Upon doing so, you will receive a single message confirming your removal from the automated system.
Assistance: If you need help with the messaging system, reply with the word HELP or contact us by calling our main line directly.
Carrier Limitation of Liability: Mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Section B: Dog Grooming and Pet Taxi Policies
To ensure the safety and well-being of the animals and our staff, we adhere to strict professional ethical standards:
Behavior and Safety: We reserve the right to refuse service, or to discontinue it, if a pet exhibits excessively aggressive behavior or severe stress that poses a risk to its own health or the safety of our staff. Coat Maintenance and Double-Coated Breeds: We encourage education regarding proper coat care. If a pet arrives with severe matting, the de-matting process may cause discomfort or reveal underlying skin conditions. In extreme cases—and always prioritizing the animal’s health over aesthetics—it may be necessary to perform a close shave. The client assumes the risks associated with the removal of severely matted fur.
Health and Vaccination: By scheduling an appointment, the client certifies that the pet is up to date on all mandatory vaccinations (including Rabies) and does not suffer from any contagious diseases.
Pet Taxi Service: If you utilize our pick-up and drop-off service, the pet must be ready at the agreed-upon time. Paws & Claw
